Malibu Orchard Menu – ALL ORGANIC!

AT A GLANCE: 

Breakfast: $22 - $35 pp + tip includes Breakfast Plate, Toast, Home-Made Jams, Fruit, Coffee or Tea.  

Picnic Brunch/Lunch or Tea: $30 pp + tip to take to the beach, on a hike, wine tasting or on the road 

Dinner:  $39 - $45 pp + tip is a 3-course menu - Main Course & 2 Sides, a Salad & Home-Made Dessert.  (BYOB).                

Meals are often served ‘al fresco’ on the ocean view sun deck so please dress in layers.  All guests enjoy the same meal, so please choose one menu for all.  Specify if you require a special diet (gluten-free, lactose-free; Paleo, etc.) Intimate meals, Wine-Tasting Picnics, and Special Requests can also be arranged.  Guests are welcomed to invite friends to join our communal dinner even if they aren't staying overnight.

BREAKFAST MENU:

Zuma Surfer Breakfast - Home-made Huevos Rancheros with Oganic Fried Eggs  served on a bed of Sliced Potatoes or Refried Beans topped with Diced Plum Tomatoes and Chorizo Sausage served with Organic Tortillas and Fresh Fruit - the taste of the Mexican Riviera.  $22 pp plus tip

Hearty Safari Breakfast features Fresh-Laid Organic Eggs with  Roasted Tomato, Harsh Browns, Fresh Fruit, Toast and Bibi’s own Marmalades and Jams -  a memory of my safari days. $25 pp plus tip

Home-made Belgium Waffles served with Fresh Strawberries and a dollop of Vanilla Whipped Cream with a side of thick Chocolate Sauce - an indulgence brought home from Brussels. $30 pp plus tip

Galician Spanish Tortilla (like a frittata) made from our Fresh-Laid Organic Eggs, Potatoes, Onions and Garlic served with Pesto-Roasted Tomato, Fresh Fruit, Toast and Bibi’s own Marmalades and Jams – inspired from my 500 mile walk across Spain on the Camino de Santiago. $25 pp plus tip

Lox and Bagels  - Wild Smoked Salmon served with Sliced Onions and Basil Tomatoes, Organic Cream Cheese, diced hard-boiled Organic Eggs, Capers and Bagels complimented by Fresh Fruit -a universal favorite.    $30 pp plus tip

PORK:

Organic Pork Tenderloin Medallions prepared in a Grape-Pomegranate sauce served with Garden-Fresh Steamed Spinach cooked with Toasted Macadamia Nuts and Feta Cheese and Mashed Orange Sweet Potato – a recipe made famous by my muse, the renowned French Chef,  Jacques Peppin ($39 pp)

Slow-Roasted BBQ Baby-Back Ribs of all natural, hormone/antibiotic-free free range pork rubbed with coriander and cumin slathered with our signature BBQ sauce served with our Signature Peanut Cole Slaw and Molasses Baked Beans followed by a Home-Made Dessert for a taste of the American West. ($45 pp)

FISH:

Seafood Gratin - Wild Alaskan Cod served with a creamy Mornay sauce topped with a tapenade of Sweet Corn Kernels, Diced Red Pepper, Shallots, and Thyme - a Newfoundland staple that captured our hearts - and tastebuds. ($39 pp)

Pesto-Grilled Shrimp with Zucchini Noodles and Honey-Lime Glazed Vegetable Stir-fry. (Also offered with Fettucini or Buckwheat Noodles as well as Gluten Free Quinoa Noodles) - a souvenir of a Sicilian summer  ($45 pp)

Baked Fish a la Gallega - Fresh Wild Fish of the Day cooked over layers of Organic Potatoes and Garlic cooked in a delicious sauce of Baked Garlic and Spanish Paprika served with chunks of garlic bread. ($39 pp)

Paella Party-in-a-Pan combines the delicious flavor of shrimp, sausage and chicken with tomatoes, onions, peas, shallots, and garlic in  a flavor-packed saffron- rice served with chunks of garlic bread ($45 pp)

Fresh Wild Pacific Fish braised in a Coconut Penang Curry served with Rice Pilaf and a Seasonable Vegetable, a Garden-Fresh Green Salad and a Home-Made Dessert – a heavenly dish discovered in Thailand. ($39 pp)

Catch-of-the-day Fish 'n Chips featuring Fresh Wild Line-Caught Pacific Fish with a selection of tangy dipping sauces, a Seasonable Vegetable and our Signature Cole Slaw with Peanuts and Dessert - because fish 'n chips is like surf 'n sun! ($39 pp)

BEEF:

Boeuf Bourguignon - Organic Grass-fed Beef cooked in a broth of Red Wine and Cognac with carrots, tomatoes, onions and mushrooms served with thick slices of garlic Country bread $45 pp plus tip

Grass-fed Organic Hamburger spread with Fig/Hazelnut Preserve, layered with a slice of Brie and topped with Caramelized Figs and Onions served on a Portabello Mushroom or Brioche Bun accompanied with Sea Salt French fries and a Baked Basil/Garlic Tomato or Corn on the Cob served with a Garden-Fresh Green Salad and Dessert $39 pp plus tip

Grass-Fed London Broil with Stuffed Baked Potato and Mint Baby Green Beans served with a Bacon Bit Green Salad and a Apple-Passionfruit Crumble with Whipped Cream - the home-coming meal for my son $45 pp plus tip

Spaghetti Bolognese made with Organic Grass-Fed Beef in an Heirloom Tomato Sauce topped with fresh-grated Parmesan and herbs served with garlic bread accompanied by a Garden-Fresh Green Salad and a Home-Made Dessert – a hearty comfort food loved around the world. $39 pp plus tip

Traditional Shepherd’s Pie featuring hearty Organic Meat Sauce from Grass-Fed Beef and home-grown Heirloom Tomatoes layered with Baby Green Beans and topped with Garlic Mashed Potatoes with Melted Cheese – an elegant version of the ‘pub food’ I ate as a student at the London Film School. $39 pp plus tip

Organic Vegetarian or Beef Chili with Cornbread Madelaines -  packed with fresh vegetables and spices slow-cooked in dark ale served with rice accompanied with a Garden Fresh Green Salad and Home-Made Coconut Ice Cream -  savor the flavor of the SouthWest. ($39 pp plus tip

Eggplant Parmesan with Grass-Fed Organic Beef in an Home-Made Heirloom Tomato Sauce layered with Mozzarella and Parmesan Cheese and smothered in a baked Grilled Cheese Topping served Farfalle Bow Tie Pasta with a Garden-Fresh Salad and Home-Made Dessert. POULTRY:

Organic Bourbon-Smoked Chicken flavored with apple-wood chips served with Sweet Potato French Fries and Almond Green Beans accompanied by a our Signature Peanut Cole Slaw and followed by a Home-Made Dessert – a new spin on the American South. $45 pp plus tip

Malibu Margarita Grilled Chicken combines the fantastic flavor of tequila cooked into the chicken with subtle hints of sweetness from the agave and a little kick from the jalapeno served with fresh Sweet Corn on the Cob and Potato Salad. Tequila, lime and orange all come together to create the taste of Malibu summer! $39 pp plus tip

Organic Roast Meyer Lemon/Rosemary Chicken with mashed garlic potatoes and caramelized carrots served with a Garden Fresh Salad and Home-Made Dessert- a family favorite Sunday roast. $39 pp plus tip

Coconut-Encrusted Organic Chicken Tenderloins served with Thai Sesame Noodles and Fresh Vegetables with a Garden-Fresh Green Salad and Home-Made Coconut Ice Cream - inspired from river-boating in Thailand. $39 pp plus tip

LAMB:

Grass-Fed Spice-Encrusted New Zealand Rack of Lamb with Home-Made Mint Vinegrette served with Ratatouille from our garden Vegetables and Pesto Orzo accompanied by a Garden-Fresh Salad and a Home-made Dessert – my personal favorite. $45 pp plus tip

White Truffle Farfelle Bow Tie Pasta with Porcini Mushrooms and Baby Vegetables (Sweet Corn, Sweet Pea Pods, and Red Peppers)  served with a Kale-Quinoa-Grape Salad and a Home Made Dessert - memories of a Tuscan summer $39 pp plus tip

Organic Vegetarian Chili Slow-Cooked in a Spicy Dark Ale/Mole Sauce with Cornbread Madelaines served with Organic Rice accompanied with a Garden-Fresh Green Salad and Home-Made Coconut Fruit Sorbet- savor the flavor of the SouthWest. $39 pp plus tip

Because our meat and fish is all organic (grass-fed meats/free-range poultry/wild fish):  it's hormone-free and antibiotic-free so it's the healthiest you can eat.

Because we cook from scratch: We make our own condiments like ketchup, chutneys, jams and marmalades. We brine our own bacon and smoke our own meat, poultry and fish.

Surf Safari Picnic Breakfast, Brunch or Lunch:

Prepared just for you and presented in a  Traditional Picnic Hamper,  a Hiker's Bento Box, or a Check-out Take-out, this all-organic home-made meal is perfect whether you want to watch surfers at our favorite surf spot 10 minutes from the house, hike to a favorite panorama lookout, indulge in wine-tasting minutes from the house, or take the taste of Malibu Orchards on the road with you.  $30 pp plus tip

Organic Turkey Brined in Apple Cider and smoked over apple-wood chips served with organic Home-made Apple/Cranberry Compote served with organic Mashed Sweet Potatoes with Home-made Organic Marshmallows and organic Steamed Spinach tossed with our home-made organic smoked Bacon, Macadamia Nuts, and Feta Cheese followed by a garden-fresh organic Baby Green Salad and an organic home-made Key Lime Pie.
